Time & Location
About the Event
The theme of the ICDA conference is: Empowerment for a better quality of life. Discussions and conference submissions would focus on how disabled people can be empowered to become more visible and actively included in their respective communities in Africa. Topics can include empirical or non-empirical work related to best practices; education, skills acquisition, and how these can be or have been applied in the African context. We also welcome presentations on any topic related to empowerment and disabilities (i.e., intellectual disability, vision Impairment, autism spectrum disorder, deaf or hard of hearing, mental health conditions, physical disability etc).
